# How do I use the new Paragraph AI Rewrite tool? (Beta Feature)

## Often customers need to summarize or reformat text for a newsletter. The AI rewrite tool helps them do this in just a few clicks.

This new feature is available to all of our customers to help them increase efficiency of newsletter writing and production. Newsletter producers can select the following options to rewrite their text:

- easier to read
- shorter
- more formal
- more casual
- more persuasive
- more neutral
- reformatted as a list ( _this option will only be visible if the text in the paragraph block is more than 1000 characters_)
- reformatted with subheadings ( _this option will only be visible if the text in the paragraph block is more than 1000 characters_)

This is an **AI feature** and it may affect content in adverse ways. Its results may affect the meaning of your content. **Please carefully check your work to ensure all information is accurate and correct prior to publishing**.

### Where do I begin?

1. In order to start using the AI Rewrite tool, start by going to **Newsletters** and open a draft, use a template, or start with a blank template.
2. Once you have your draft open, drag and drop a **paragraph block** into your edition.
3. On the right hand side you will see three options displayed (Rewrite, copy, and delete).  
4. Click on **Rewrite**.  
5. Click on the **Make this text** dropdown to review the options available. _Please note that to view the 2 **reformatting** options, the text needs to be at least 1000 characters._  
6. Once you have selected your **Rewrite option**, click **Rewrite**.  
7. The **AI assistant** will display the results just below the dropdown and the **Rewrite** button in the popup window for you to review prior to updating your text in the paragraph block.  
8. You can click **Cancel**, which will close the pop-up window, and you can try again, or **Save** to replace the text in the entire paragraph block.

**For now, this is only available for the paragraph block**.
