# Using the 2-Column Promotion Block

## The 2-column Promotion block lets you display promotions side by side within your newsletter. This is useful when you want to include multiple promotions in a single section while keeping the layout compact and visually balanced.

### **What Is the 2-Column Promotion Block?**

The 2-column Promotion block is a layout option for Promotion blocks that allows two promotions to appear next to each other in a single row. Each column functions as its own promotion placement and pulls in content based on the selected promotion template and send date.

### **How to Add a 2-Column Promotion Block**

1. Open the newsletter draft where you want to add promotions.

2. Add a Promotion block to your newsletter layout.

3. Change the Promotion block layout to **2 columns**.

4. You will now see two promotion slots displayed side by side.

### **Things to Keep in Mind**

- Each column acts as a separate promotion placement.
- Promotions shown are determined by the selected template and send date.
