What Are Letterhead's Default Promotion Types?
Learn about the 4 default promotion types available on Letterhead and what’s included in each.
Letterhead supports the following default promotion types. Each includes a set of required fields that promoters must complete when designing and scheduling promotions.
Text
This promotion includes text-only fields — the promoter’s name, a heading, a 140-character text section, and a call to action text with a hyperlink.

Banner
This promotion includes the promoter’s display name, and a 728 x 90 banner image that hyperlinks to the link address.

This promotion type includes the promoter’s name, a 600 x 400 image, a heading, a 650-character text section with multiple links, and a call to action text with a hyperlink.

Promotion Type Customization
Creators may customize and configure the following default promotion type attributes:
- Which default promotion types will be used
- The promotion type name
- The inventory of default promotion types in each edition
- The placement of default promotion types in each edition
Additional customization options such as changing text character limit can be edited when creating your promotion template based off these default types.
